  2. Install reliable antivirus and
  3. anti-malware software
  4. Protect yourself with a firewall
  5. Use complex passwords,
  6. and never give them out
  7. Change your email password every 60-90 days
  8. Make backup copies regularly
  9. Safe laptops and smartphones
