What You Will Do:
We seek a Process Improvement Specialist to lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal administrative functions, including finance, IT, human resources, legal, and more. This role involves modernising and refining processes that have developed organically over a century.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process strategies that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements while integrating best practices in process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with various service groups to tailor process solutions to their unique needs.
- Produce detailed reports and presentations for senior management to demonstrate progress and propose future enhancements.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in business process improvement within sizable and complex organisations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A degree in Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related field, with preferred certifications in Lean Six Sigma, BPM, or similar methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in collaborative team engagement.
- Independent project management skills, capable of multitasking and delivering within tight deadlines.
Additional Considerations:
- Compliance with strict privacy and corporate governance standards is required.
- Occasional travel to various organisational sites may be needed, though efforts to minimise travel are preferred.
- Knowledge of Australian Cyber Security Principles and the Essential Eight would be beneficial.
